Sam Peter completely dominated James Toney over the weekend which is something I did not think would happen. In their first fight which I had Toney winning, I was surprised at how well Peter landed his jab on the usually unhittable Toney. This time Peter knocked Toney down with a jab which is almost unthinkable considering Toney hasn't been knocked down in over a decade.

Toney looks well spent as a fighter now as his balance and offense have clearly regressed. His training with Billy Blanks resulted in a one pound weight gain and no discernible benefit to his performance. Toney can still probably beat a few guys in the top ten but his weight and deteriorating skills limit his future.

The Nigerian Nightmare is now clearly a top 5 heavyweight with a bullet. His boxing skills have improved greatly and his willingness to mix it up, activity level, power and growing experience bode well for a run at the top.
