If you have equal "love and devotion" to all other countries then patriotism looses it's meaning, doesn't it? Unless you think patriotism is about the land mass and not the people.

In military terms it would be like giving your soldiers better weapons than your opponents. You think that makes sense, right?

re: I do think that if for whatever reason you can feed two non-Americans or just one American, but not all three, that you should feed the two non-Americans. Maybe that helps you understand my view.

Then that means we should spread the wealth evenly among the entire world population? I didn't know you were a communist!
