Purple Hearts are awarded by the Navy for wounds in action. All Kerry's Purple Hearts were received for actual wounds in actual combat situation. Questioning or attacking a combat veteran's wounds or medals is the lowest form of pond scum behavior imaginable, especially when all your political heros dodfed the draft, lied about it and were cowards. Not a single major Bushie leader nor any of their sons have ever served in combat, and none are serving in Iraq. Bob Dole also received on of his Purple Hearts for a minor arm wound treated with a bandage.
