When it comes to reasons the U.S. didn't try Saddam in an international court, you don't take notice of the obvious motivation to allow Iraqis to take care of Iraqi business. Nor do you recognize that when the Kurds were gassed by Saddam, the U.S. was plainly upset and certainly not a knowing accomplice in such acts. Despite our support of Iraq against Iran, we did not condone such actions. That's just the way it was, despite your words to the contrary, IMHO. The evidence you interpret is out as you know, and so there was no reason to fear "shameful exposure" from an international court trial of Saddam, even if your interpretation is correct.

Saddam lived over three years after his capture, yet you write of "the great haste in disposing of Saddam !!!"

It just doesn't fly, nor does your argument in general, IMHO.
