Actually the stability of the US as a democracy depends on reasonably equal distribution of wealth I would say it doesn't, but "reasonably equal" is rather vague and subjective, so I can't be 100% sure I disagree, because I can't be 100% sure what you mean. The evil greed meisters of the rightwing have floated this myth that the USA is about everyone becoming Bill Gates The only one floating that myth is you, as a straw man. It's funny how rightwingers lament the 1950s ??? Some of them might lament the 60s, personally I don't spend my time doing that.
