I was very disappointed by the ad. It's very dated, even though that might be the intention of the ad.

Yes, Apple wants to be different, but it's in a world where Apple is not that different any more. I know many Mac users, and they are just ordinary computer users, who don't really care about great innovations, but rather who still want good products at reasonable prices. They don't want to be different, but rather they want to keep up, without having to pay extra cost panelties.

Most users want to know what Apple is going to do after it killed the clones. For the answer the ad was a total waste.

The ad was reminiscent of the old Infinty ad showing lots of pretty scenery but no cars, leaving the audience wondering about what's going on. The Apple ad showed no computer, or other products that may be of interest to the viewers, but they only got faces.

Mr. Jobs, tell us what lies in the future for Apple. How you are going to keep up with Wintel, what other products that might be REALLY of use to us, and how you are going to keep us after you start gouging us again without the clones to keep your prices reasonable.

Jobs is a man of the past, the ad is a work of the past, and, I hope not, Apple may be a thing of the past soon.

"killer ad?" yes, Apple is still trying hard to kill itself!
