Hard to say....I used to be a varmint hunter when I was younger....had a rifle made by remington that could hit an egg at 300 yards shot after shot.....

I suppose if I were several hundred yards away from my target I would be less nervous if that target could shoot back...then again....you only need a few seconds to address your target and fire.....

I don't know...it gives me the willies to think about being in a combat zone....but as a police sharpshooter one would know their job is to save a life by taking one....this would probably negate nervousness.
