Oh that's too far north, I think Santa Cruz is about right to the north and Santa Barbara to the south..Maybe Carpinteria, so then SB could be their capital.. I want to keep SC and SV in NoCal.. And thinking of that, Maybe "New Israel" could just become a state, sort of like "New Mexico".:) .. Solves a lot of problems..

1. Separates the new states of NoCal and SoCal from each other.. A buffer zone between two different cultures and mind sets..

2. Separates "Old Israel" from the Palestinians.. No more walls need to be built. Removes a world trouble spot.

3. We have great Jewish friends and they will not have to travel far to visit relatives.

4. Removes the stigma of Hawaii being the last state admitted.. :)

5. We would then have 53 states.. I always liked that number..:)

That's just for starters..
