What I find most interesting is that Albanians have very little if any, Christian-Muslim strife..for them, it's always been about nationalistic issues..whether it be against the Turkish Empire or the Serbs in the North, Italy/Germany during WW2.. I grew up with our family socializing and having very dear Muslim/Albanian friends.. It's really a shame that since communism crumbled, there hasn't been a courageous and straight shooting leader..corruption makes a good portion of Albania's GDP..anywhere from people-trafficking, drug trade, etc..this is not representative of the population which is extremely hospitable and peaceful..
