Campbell Resources (CCH / CBLRF) --- News !

Good morning everyone. On Tuesday, January 9th, there were 3 developments that affect Campbell Resources in a positive way. If you are news to Campbell, you can find a dedicated message board for Campbell (CCH.TO / CBLRF.OB), right here in SiliconInvestor.

1) Press release January 9th discussed the closing of the private placement by Nuinsco, where Nuinsco now owns about 10% (plus warrants) of Campbell’s shares. This is a hugely significant development for the following reason:

In the above link I write that Nuinsco Management are “insiders”. I write that because two of Nuinsco’s senior management sit on the Campbell Board, and the highest level Operations guy on the ground at Campbell’s mines came from Nuinsco.

This private placement says it all – normal operations and an emergence from CCAA restructuring are a “done deal”, IMO

2) Campbell announced that they will receive the $50 million in cash that they are due from a group of Banks.

Post: $50 million is Debt just wiped out

3) We saw an interview with a Campbell Vice President in a Quebec newspaper. Alain Blais, vice-president director-general of Campbell Resources, was interviewed. The interview appeared (in French) in the Quebec newspaper, La Sentinelle, on January 4th, 2007

Here is a link to the translated version, posted by “Ragrenier”:

That’s just one more Executive from Campbell sticking his neck out and saying “everything is fine here” and “Campbell will now perform as expected”. He didn’t have to agree to that interview.

When you combine this interview with the “signoff” by Nuinsco (they invested their own money), and the massive purchased by Sprott connected funds, and the purchases by other Institutions, it’s clear that the risk of ownership is very, very low at this point.

And if you read through my posts on this CCH message board (link above), you will see me present valuation scenarios that take CCH well above $1.00 in share price (a “10 bagger” or more).

When you are on that board, just click my name, and you will see an index of my Analysis with NO BASHERS.

Note to SiliconInvestor: I would love to see the Campbell board here in SiliconInvestor get more traffic, and I am working towards that.
