Just as the mistreatement of sadam at the hanging was repugnant, so was the reaction of the sunnis in somehow glorifying saddam. I would imagine that the shiaa and kurds were very pissed off at their attempt at martyrdom for saddam. I have more understanding for why someone might piss on his grave than for someone who labels a known butcher to be a hero because he killed mostly shia and kurds.
