There was not anything in the article about a 300Mhz K6. It's just a hunch on my part, and it better be ture as far as AMD is concerned.

And, yes I did notice the 100 Mhz bus. Sounds like a great system, but I suspect that the timing behind the showing of this system is to try and keep OEMs from adopting the VIA VP3 boards that I'm sure many of them are currently evaluating. Intel is saying, "but look, we're gonna have a 100 Mhz bus also, and faster processors to boot." The question remains whether a Deschutes will be faster than a K6+; even if the Deschutes is running at a higher clock rate. The jury is still out.
