Not looking at the ND Futures, I never trade them.


EW as applied to trading and market analysis is basically an attempt to divine the direction of the trend by examining typical patterns.


That's pretty much what most of these systems try to do. No particular adversion to Elliot Wave, my only problem with it is that there always seems to be a fudge factor to fall back on. I imagine it's a lot more viable for a cash index than many other methods. It does not need to look at volume, I suppose it does not work in time. It's purely a pattern based on price.

I've known a few who could use it fairly well, more power to them.
