Hi Everyone, I just read the complete analyst postings since the morning and to say the least there are serious growth and earnings questions about Ascend going forward. Dont get me wrong, I am long on Ascend but I am accepting the fact that they have atleast a year of recovery ahead filled with competetive battles both on the technical and marketing fronts. They do not have a diversified customer and product base like CSCO and COMS and the management is lacking credibility and leadership skills for a company now twice the size. If the institutions are wary (and boy, they are) then the retail buying of the stock will not keep it afloat for long. I would not be surprised to see 18-22 as the low. I shall post a gyst of all the common concerns from all the reports later when I have time. The networkers are going through a bear market these 12-18 months and all good news will be suppressed or lost in the gloom. -hitesh
