Yes, but how would the Romans have handled pesticides and as I recall being an underground mine worker in Rome in 200 AD was even worse. Didn't the slave Barbarosa wear a blindfold in the underground mine he was assigned to to keep from going blind for some reason-lol? Lead mines must have been bad and drinking out of lead cups lowered the IQ pretty fast-lol.
