I agree with the above EC. With regard to nutrition I always felt first thing to do is look at cultures where people lived to be old and see what they ate.

Sometimes there are so many variables one can not take them all into account, so one has to walk around the problem and look at it from another angle.

Sometimes that is common sense.

The Japanese are the longest lived people on earth and would be longer lived still if they did nto eat so much salty soy sauce. Worlds highest stroke rates. The average woman lives to be 83.
