Well, that is a very bold claim and very well timed. I'm not sure about the claim as being first though, my company did this a couple of months ago. We are just very conservative about making press releases based on demonstrations. We prefer them based on sales. The reason that it is very well timed is that NIOSH is reviewing bids for a network to be installed in mine for functional evaluation purposes.

I'm curious how many hops they were able to do with effective voice communications. In my last trip underground I was able to get 12 hops with great voice quality (up from seven hops). We are averaging about 1800' between nodes at this point, so we can pretty much get anywhere in the mine from the downcast base stations.

Looks like we are going to run into a bit of competition....I'm glad it is Rajant.
