I noticed that coffee and alcohol have one quality in common - they both emphasize and strengthen the mood in which the person was before consuming either of them. If the person is frustrated, alcohol will make his state of mind worse, probably... but if one is to have a cup of coffee on a bright morning, while feeling rested and well -- well, it will probably make the fellow feel even better.... :)

Thanks for the many interesting points.

With regard to Sean Penn on the photo - where he is looking overboard and playing with water - and whom I called a "Narcissus" - I decided to go back and google the term. Found this curious little article, which argues that the "real" (archetypal) Narcissus from the myth... was not really narcissistic. This leaves me confused - What am I to make of Sean Penn? Is he, or is he not? LOL.
