The fact that this war is not against a specific country is not relevant... this is a war with a 21st century label on it, we have been attacked all over the world for the past 30 plus years, i.e., military barracks, embassies, Naval vessels, and so on, and finally at home in 1993 and on 9/11... the fact that there may or may not be a civil war in iraq is not relevant... we can't simply say okay, it's just a civil war so we'll just step aside and go home, that "civil war" has been fueled by insurgents from iran, and encouraged by Bush bashing at home, 70% of those roadside bombs that have been killing our troops come from iran... I must presume you also know this much... iran is looking for a fight, they want to "wipe America and Israel off the face of the Earth," and they say so at every opportunity... the terrorist cells of al quaida are everywhere, this is a fight we cannot walk away from no matter where it is, otherwise it will be far far worse for all of us, far worse than you could imagine... respectfully, I believe you do not see the gravity of this issue... by the time you do, all of europe could easily be overrun with moslum extremists, spain is all but toast today... that you cannot, or refuse to, see this is troubling...
