My husband shaved off his mustache twice. Once when our oldest was 3 and the second time when the two younger kids were 4 and 6. The oldest one would talk to his dad for a few weeks. Keep saying, Mom, ask that man to bring back my Dad. The tow younger ones were shocked, kept their distance and kept staring at him like he was a stranger.
