Yaacov - The irrepresible Tom Kurlak of Merrill Lynch put out a news release today that he thinks Intel COULD possibly not make his estimate of .92 for the quarter. That's all the reason for the report. Tom Kurlak has a VERY spotty record of making predictions and has on at least several occaisions reversed himself in days. For example he advised about 18 months ago that people should sell Intel when it was in the high 40s and then told people about a month later to buy intel when it was in the 70s. (Todays effective price is around 190). Still, people listen to him because in a world where most people don't really know anything, anyone who pretends to know gets a lot of respect. Go figure.
