Stock market: not war Iraq: war Iraq is definitely about war profits. Saudi Arabia was in dire financial straits before the price of gasoline shot up. ExxonMobil has earned the highest profits of any company in history for the same reason. Bush is trying to expand the war into the rest of the ME which will threaten the Straits of Hormuz and get oil to the $100/bbl+ that Goldman Sachs predicted it would. The oil shocks of the last decade would mean around $80/bbl in current money. Try investing in businesses with the massive transfer of wealth dictated by $100/bbl oil.
