Thanks for posting those Fireflood notes. I am afraid the True Believers of THAI will find some way to assault you, but it would be a more sensible reaction if they would recognise that almost ALL new or radically improved technologies (and THAI is just that) run into trying development challenges sooner or later.

Why should THAI be exempt? And yes people, I most certainly do know how important it is that the world acquires more efficient ways to extract bitumen from all sorts of heavy oil and Tar Sands. I want THAI to succeed, but it is more than likely to be a challenging and prolonged R & D project. From an investment perspective, that's nearly all one needs to know at this stage. PBG is an interesting speculation, with an unknowable risk to reward ratio today. Tomorrow may be different.
