Sunw weakness was efficiency(productivity in revenue per employee) and hardware meantime failure rate(hours). Some latest results seem corrected. Share prices reflect appreciation of their management. Beside, they own the Internet service provider business with SUN servers and software. All browsers had to synchronize with Sun real time threads(hidden monopoly position). Sunw strong point is Java and Ajax(DOM) website creation. The new service business will shift their R&D to DOM(dynamic object model microkernels, either just in time scheduler or expert system). A Strong library of microkernels will take over supply chain software business very quickly. But they have to hire some business management consultants(accounting) before they can see some exciting results in their own operations. We are stockholder of Sunw. Opinions here may be biased.
