The US has zero troops available for any attack on Iran. Plu,s Iran has never attacked us. Any intel Bush puts out that Iran has supposedly attacked us is not credible because Bush has lied many times before without remorse or apology. Iran has many more options for hurting us than we have for hurting them. Our only real option is our Air Force. We can drop bombs on them. But what targets? To what end? If we drop them on oil installations the price of gas goes up $1. Bushies might like that. If we drop it on cities that kills civilians. If we drop on military bases that starts an all-out war we can't finish because our once-great Army and MArines are now exhausted and their equipment degraded. Besides, Bush himself created much of the hostility in Iran. He egged them on, insulted them, snubbed them and poked sticks at them. He's the one who got the rightwing president elected. If we remove Bush from power things will settle down substantially.
