Education is about more than science -- it is also about politics. And in America the politics of climate change are to ignore it and pretend it is not a major concern. That is what we get from Bush. Students should know that there is an issue. Students should know that we are heading for serious trouble over this because we have not mustered the political will to do what needs to be done. ON climate change this Administration is not only not working for the best interests of America, it is working against our interests. As for making religious right appear to be lunatics -- they are responsible for that themselves.
