Beckham is getting a boat load of money because the people giving him the money think it will have a positive return for them. If t heir right its a good investment, and isn't totally different then AMD building Fab 30. If their wrong its a bad investment but either way it isn't an injustice. It's hard to believe they can make a return on $50m per year for a soccer player in the US. Its certainly not going to make any return on tickets. Do you know anyone that has ever been to a pro soccer match in the US?
