I cannot help but wonder: I know you cannot speak for all the people whom bitch and spit. But are you an isolationist, or do you believe that civilized nations should consider intervening to prevent the political murder of women and children in sovereign nations? Surely you believe in that intervention within your own country--RIGHT??

Who died and made you God? What gives you the right to decide what's best for another people? You are the same people who get incensed when the UN slaps America's hands, and yet you think nothing of violating another nation's sovereignty because you think you know best.....like the nosy neighbor who is forever telling their neighbor how to run their life.

Instead of asking me what I am, what exactly are you all? You are like no Americans I have ever met until Bush came into power. And it seems to me more Americans agree with my posture than with yours. In fact, we want American troops to come home.

So, protecting civilized values in other countries is different--I agree. But is self defense the sole consideration justifying intervention on behalf of the innocent? What do you think?

Self defense of your nation or the nations of your allies is the only reason to go to war. If you want to help other countries, then provide them with aid and education. History has shown us that going into pre-emptive war usually creates death and destruction and rarely accomplishes anything.
