But what if it never makes it to the courts? If Utah is like Texas, the state AG isn't going to prosecute a large, Republican donor if he can possibly avoid it. And the federal prosecutor is likely a Bush appointee. And Bush appointees are usual selected on the basis of their party affiliations and personal loyalty to Bush, and not their competence.
