Hi All,
just got back FROM the US. I was in Long Island, so off I went to RFC, accompanied by a load of guys from work.
I didn't have passes (nominee account), but explained this to a guy on the elephant and we were seated in about 5 minutes. There was a queue 20 yards long at the rock, but dummy that I am I forgot to ask the waiting time (I was too relived getting a seat quickly, I had promised the guys).
Here are the general comments from the guys:
1. awsome, what an interior
2. food too spicy. I had Jammaca me Crazy, and was I warned it was hot, but the others had no warning (mainly pasta). I think some of them had to force the food down.
3. so how much does RFC contribute to rainforrest causes (hey it will keep coming back)?
4. If you do get passes, can I have them please, the kids would love this.
5.Too many types of clothes (odd one this). Too expensive in comparison to "brand names".
6.waiter dropped a sauce bowl and we all got slightly splattered. all that was offered was an appology and some napkins. how come we didn't all get a beer (at this point I had to buy beer, being the shareholder, I expect a contribution from you all).
all in all most people were pretty impressed. negative things above was cos I asked them to let me know what they didn't like.
my own thoughts are WOW, this place was far bigger to the eye than London. The sign coming into the mall just hits you in the face. when parties didn't show they were just infomred "your safari has left without you". I think it should be "sorry your......". Hey manners cost nothing. The yanks in our party couldn't understand all the names, so it's not suprising many people missed being called. People were still coming in when we left at 9:45.
cheers J (havn't spell checked this, bed time!) |
