Saddam was not connected to 9-11 or Al Qaida and posed no imminent threat. He simply needed to be thoroughly inspected and disarmed if any illegal arms were discovered. End of story. That's the end of your story which apparently has the Iraqi population increasingly looking like the abandoned population of NK. My story has Saddam's regime getting forcibly removed and its leaders either killed in that removal or brought to justice by the people they have oppressed for the preceding 20 years. I prefer my story to yours, and that preference has nothing to do with Bush or Kerry (if excluding those two from my decision making process makes any sense to you).
