Darren -

It's a nice time of the year. And always good to get away. I should do the same. At least from my broker. My new plan is to wait for the next news. I'm not really convinced about this one yet. I'm also patiently waiting for the "Big Kahuna" (if that tells you anything). It looks like more than a few are or will be coming out of orbit on earnings this qtr. The expectations for rgfx seem high and if they don't make them it could be a long wait before it goes anywhere. All the arguments I see hinge on the growth rate and judging from the share price a lot of people aren't convinced it's real or sustainable anyway. When they really need to keep the ball rolling here it doesn't inspire confidence to see insider selling. The truth be known I really only like this one because Sam does. I bought two of his picks this year and they both doubled :-) However he also had this to say at one point "Don't forget that it costs alot of money to acquire consumer mindshare...Look for SUSTAINABLE competitive advantage and barriers to entry, not just a good product. Don't underestimate the potential competition. Always do a worst case analysis. Be careful of one trick ponies." Apologies to Sam for repeating it out of context here but I think it's good advice and seems to apply with rgfx.

It looks to me like nkot is building their printheads with technology licenced from Xaar. I wonder how important the licences are and what would happen if with both nkot and rgfx if Xaar decided it didn't want to do that anymore. Maybe not a big deal but it appears that rgfx's fortunes depend on many things that are beyond their control, particularly if it's true as you say "any team of Joe Shmoes with a good understanding of how printing works can put together a printer that can compete with anyone."
