Geode, <you still fail to comprehend the entire problem.> I fail to see any problem so far. On the contrary, I see a solution. But, I do see a trend which unless interrupted at some stage, could become a problem. Yes, if CO2 levels just keep on rising, at some stage, it will become a problem.

But being dead is going to be a problem for a lot of people in the next 100 years and being dead is quite a major problem. One can't just move to Africa to avoid the cold of death. One can't just move uphill to avoid the rising tide of depleted telomeres.

There are more solutions to CO2 increases than governments suffocating everyone even more than they do. There are Final Solutions and population depletion looks a certainty, despite all the little Mqs running around. There are Technological Solutions, such as ditching the industrial revolution Otto cycle engine which produces lots of entropy and little movement. There is an infinite array of solutions.

First, where's the problem? I vote for more warming. I LIKE no ice age. I WANT warmer winter and warmer summer. I'm okay with sea level up 1 metre.
