Pokokee........really yummy North Korean dish.

1/2 cup olive oil
1/2 cup soy
1/2 cup sugar
1 t pepper
3 cloves garlic crushed
1 lb thinly sliced beef ( i get this at uwajimya)

Marinade meat in first 5 ingredients for 4-5 hours

Stir fry meat. Save juice for dipping.

Have Head lettuce leaves washed and ready to fill with rice, meat and kim chee. Spoon those ingredients into the lettuce leaves and roll up like a burrito. Dip in stir fry sauce.

Also......serve with stir fried shrimp:

Olive oil, butter, garlic and parsley.

(I use Jasmin rice)

Also serve with marinaded cukes.

vinegar, sugar, soy all to taste. Add sliced red onion.
