The Clinton military performed very well, but the leadership at the top was terrible and that has doomed our military since the invasion. It is the worst foreign polivy and military blunder in history and gross incompetence and dereliction of duty has been in evidence every since the beginning. There is no rational reason for anyone to continue supporting Bush-Cheney. They have done nothing but lie, cheat, fail and let cronies rip us off since day one. Our military neds about 5 years to heal, regroup and re-equip. This is no time for escalations unless the US homeland or our troops were attacked by a particular nation. Which they never were.
