You don't have to tell me anything, the neocons said it in their PNAC and Clean Break documents. The problem is they stuffed up -- Iraq is a debacle and they don't know what to do. Had Iraq gone according to plan then they could have easily proceeded with Iran, that's obvious. But now is another story, especially when the Iraqi shiites dominate both the so-called government and the insurgency.

Meanwhile, Iran gets stronger and stronger militarily and geopolitically and they are certainly well-prepared for any kind of air or military strike. Indeed, they couldn't have been better warned. The only reason that some people could possibly feel it's propitious for USrael to strike now or soon is that the oil price is down because of a warm summer in the N. Hemisphere. One doesn't have to be a tactical genius to see that.
