who won the 2006 Christmas season console wars? according to Sony, Sony won, because the dollar total of PS2 and PS3 sales was higher than the console dollar totals of the competing consoles. according to Nintendo, Nintendo won, because Nintendo sold the most units when you combine Wii, Gamecube, and DS (handheld) unit sales. according to Microsoft, Microsoft won, because the Xbox 360 outsold the Wii and the PS3 combined. i vote that all three companies give their PR departments a raise.
