Kerry volunteered for Vietnam. Gore did too. In prior wars it was commonplace for citizens of all classes to volunteer. But strangely not a single top Bush Republican leader ever volunteered or ever served in combat. In fact most of the topm Bushie leaders deliberately avoided the draft. And we don't see any of them sending their sons to Iraq. Not a single one.
