"the local TV channel decided to delve into the dark art of cinematography." Local news always does that. It isn't bias, it is an attempt to make the event "newsworthy". The local station here does the same thing whether or not it is an anti-abortion rally, a "think green" one or just support for the A&M football team. Reading about it in the paper, which gives the number of people there, and watching it on TV it is like there were two different events.
