Bush was the one who MADE Iran an enemy. They were moderating and moving toward us before Bush came into power, and they offered their help to us after 9-11. Also, Cheney was doing business with Iran illegally in the 90's. The Reaganites were sending them arms. And everyone knows that Bush is obsessed with oilfields, and refuses to do diplomacy.

ANy common sense president, left or rightwing, could get to a diplomatcic solution with Iran fairly quickly without costing us a single soldier. But Bush wants this si to be very-very costly. All because his own ego has taken a blow and he's still driven to prove he's not a "wimp" like his father. Even though he actually is.
