I like winter and what we were having was not winter by any stretch.

I've just about had my fill of winter.

Mrs. Smithee asked me to bring the dog in last night after we watched "24" He's 1/2 blind and has trouble with the stairs. He gets freaked out and sort of launches himself at them, trying to leap to the top, and half the time he hits a riser and bounces back to the ground. We've decided we need to go down (3 steps) and pick him up and carry him in.

I had my slippers on, and my feet went out from under me on the top stair. I think it was frosted up. I ended up face down on the frozen ground and part way on the cement sidewalk. I believe I have a bruised cocyx, sprained right wrist and a couple bruised ribs.

On top of that, we have a frozen pipe at the office. I came in yesterday, discovered a faucet not working, so turned the water off so as not to take a chance on it thawing and bursting overnight when no one was here. Plumber has been called.

So, Oral, you can have your winter. I've had my fill of it. <ggg>
