The federal deficit is going away... By TigerHawk at 1/16/2007 02:35:00 PM ...and will be gone entirely within 18 months, all without any increase in taxes. There is no short-term federal fiscal problem, even while fighting a war and subsidizing a reconstruction in Iraq. That's because the American economy is so freaking strong (including, by the way, its manufacturing sector).
