OK, so the Saudis are satisfied with oil at this level and probably going lower into a shoulder season. I guess that $60 floor a month ago was just rhetoric. And I guess Rice's visit and the Saudis NR for not needing an emergency meeting was coincidental. I'm not a conspiracy nut, but considering the Saudis are surrounded by shites and the dems screaming for troop withdrawals a quid quo pro might be in the cards. All JMHO but that's what makes markets.
