What do you do about the teacher that is competent and does his or her work, but doesn't inspire his or her students? Seems I would need you to define "inspire students". I think it's already been mentioned politics can't be discussed creating the environment where history isn't taught. Kinda hard to teach the value of money with kids driving up in Escalades. I would add that kids causing problems should be removed. Seems problem students and bad tenured teachers are killing any inspiration shown by the nerds.
