You might be looking at 925mb temps rather
than the surface. Lows temps will probably
average around 30 and highs in the lower
40s starting Wednesday, I suppose with the
snow still on the ground, 20s are possible
for tonight if it clears out.

Longer answer...

With the exception of a weak PSCZ that could
generate an inch of wet snow around the county
line on Wednesday, I don't think anything
interesting is on tap for the week ahead.
We are mostly done with the cold air, any
frosty nights will be a function of offshore
flow and clearing, and those days tend to
pop up right into the 40s.

A classic El-Nino pattern has set up in the
West Pacific--a few weeks late, but it is
there now: Split jet stream, the PacNW is
in the mean ridge position now with systems
splitting and going south into California,
and into B.C. for the most part.

I would expect near normal temps (around Sea-
Level) and below normal precip for the rest of
the winter for Western Wa. Higher up, temps
will probably average above normal (mean ridge
gives warm air aloft, but clear days give
good radiational cooling at the surface).
