i go back to early school years having had access to i.q. exams. i observed a few fifteen point jumps in test scores from one year to a later year (3year span). Why? could it be the person being tested was not ready to learn, had little guidance or initiative or poor teachers? Did a few more years of development, drive the person's interest in reading and other experiences, enough to gain several points in the latest i.q. test. Perhaps this person was distracted during the first test, under the weather so to speak.
