Yes, Iranians marched in support of the US right after 9-11. Arafat got down on his kness, cried and offered any help he could. Many former foes or semi-foes went out of their way to express deep condolances and pledge support.

I posted the news articles about the Iranian pro US marches several times in the past. Despite what Bushies want you to think, a large segment of Iran wants to be pro-YS. But they can't be pro-US with Bush in power calling them "evil", now can they?

How would you like it if some foreign leader called you "evil" and threatened to bomb your country? WOuld you be pro his country? Absolutely not. But a change in leaders, someone more warm, logical and sane, and you'd want to be friends.

The current hardliner president of Iran is just Bush's mirror image. His ascendance wasn't possible until Bush came along threatening Iran.
