"Will the extra demand on crops for fuel put their traditional food use in jeopardy?" The cricket household used to eat steak several times a month but have cut back all together when prices went above $10 a lb for the quality cuts. We can afford the current prices but can't see how many in the middle class or lower can. Ethanol is going to radically change the perception of food and the beginning of the end of "cheap calories" Anyone price soft drinks lately. Prices are going up quickly as corn sweatner goes up in cost. Lets short Coke and Pepsi! CC
