That I may have a different view of the numbers, and see the calculation and finding of root causes differently, does not mean I am not concerned about malnourished children- in Iraq, or elsewhere. I perceived that discussing this would be a dead end, so I was going to drop it, due to the way you reacted to my mention of WMD.

My reaction was solely based on comparing WMD to childhood deaths in Iraq under Saddam. About the only thing they have in common is "Saddam" and they were in "Iraq".

In Iraq I am sure food insecurity is very bad right now, worse than ever-

That's the important observation. Brumar thinks we're ahead of the game because the rate of children that were dying under Saddam are no longer dying. The truth is the same rate of children are dying, they're just dying under Maliki.
