Strategic Nevada units to be bought by Silver Wheaton 2007-01-17 05:41 ET - News Release Mr. Neil Linder reports SILVER WHEATON TO PARTICIPATE IN BROKERED PRIVATE PLACEMENT WITH STRATEGIC NEVADA RESOURCES(TSX-V;SNS) Strategic Nevada Resources Corp., further to its news issued in Stockwatch dated Jan. 10 and Jan. 12, confirms that Silver Wheaton Corp. intends to subscribe for 3.3 million units of the company's brokered private placement. Upon closing of the company's brokered and non-brokered private placements, and assuming all units are subscribed for, Silver Wheaton will own approximately 12.6 per cent of the company's issued and outstanding common shares on a non-diluted basis.
